MEMA Advocates LLP
MEMA Advocates LLP is a boutique Nairobi commercial law firm with real depth in tax law, dispute resolution, and commercial advisory - but none of that showed up anywhere online. They came to us with a clear idea of what they didn't like and a Word document: no website, no way for people to find them on Google, and no system for turning their expertise into visibility or leads. Everything ran on referrals. The firm's thinking, the kind of insight that builds trust with future clients, had nowhere to live.
The approach
The goal: Give MEMA a system. A website that reflects their credibility, a way to consistently get found, and a pipeline that turns that visibility into leads without extra manual work on their end.
Designing for credibility — Built a full Squarespace website with a custom flip-card team section, a dedicated Insights page with author profiles and category tagging, and responsive design tuned down to sub-320px screens, so the firm finally looked as sharp online as they are in practice.
Building the visibility engine — Set up Google Search Console, submitted sitemaps, requested indexing on every key page, and configured their Google Business Profile from scratch. Within days of launch, MEMA was already ranking second in branded search - a strong signal this early, with no prior online history to build on.
Building the capture system — Set up Kit as their email marketing platform and built a custom newsletter integration directly into the website, so anyone reading an article can subscribe without leaving the page. Designed a full email template for their weekly newsletter, matched to their brand colours and typography, so every send looks as considered as the website itself.
